Vaishali Vakil has a self-taught credo in life. ‘We can make PEACE with our broken PIECES’ is her belief. It’s not philosophy, but she lives this credo practically. A post-graduate in Counselling Psychology, Vaishali who has been associated with Juvenile Diabetes Foundation’s counselling team since 2006 has also been living successfully with childhood diabetes. This young go-getter has so far played counsellor to more than 500 humans, working extensively with children and adolescents. At workshops on mental health awareness & diabetes management which she has conducted, she has always had the dual advantage of being a professional who not just counsels, but also walks the talk in life!
